Emergency Care

The physicians and nursing staff providing emergency services at Mercy are specially trained in emergency and trauma medical care and are available round the clock in the seven-suite hospital Emergency Room. The city of Independence provides Emergency Medical Service paramedics who are ready to respond 24 hours a day and provide Type 1 ambulance service with advanced cardiac life support.
