Mercy Family Birthplace
Delivering
nearly 300 babies each year keeps us in good practice to handle all your
prenatal and delivery needs. Our Mercy Family Birthplace features the
LDRP concept - labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum care - all in
one comfortable, attractive patient room. The birthplace is strategically
located on the inpatient care unit between two beautiful courtyards. Each
room is designed for maximum privacy and comfort for moms, babies and
visitors.
Many of our birthplace nursing staff each have over 20 years of experience
in obstetrics and neonatal intensive care. All of the nurses are certified
in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
Other Birthplace services include:
Antepartum testing - Sonograms, prenatal screening, lab work, etc.
as ordered by physician.
Non-stress testing - Non-invasive pre-delivery monitoring to determine
fetal well-being.
