Dr.
Renee Thai joins Dr. Larry Seals at Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott, KS to
create a powerful team for women's health services. With expanded hours and
services, Dr. Thai and Dr. Seals are a duo that is ready to assist with
women's healthcare needs from preconceptual counseling, and menstrual
disorders to incontinence procedures, pelvic organ prolapse and menopausal

Wallace, has been named by the Arthritis Foundation as an Arthritis
Foundation Exercise Program Instructor.
A select group of healthcare professionals and personal trainers in Kansas
have received this training and certification. Wallace is the only certified
instructor based in Bourbon County and servicing Linn, Allen, Neosho and

Dr. Jay Allen, primary care physician with
Pleasanton Family Practice located in Pleasanton, KS, announces the addition
of cutting edge technology to provide patients added access and convenience
in filling medication prescriptions.
Patients receive medication at point of care rather than spending time
traveling to and from a pharmacy. Access to pharmacy services is

Area Women Unite to for Women in Philanthropy
A
novel approach to helping to meet health care needs in the area is being
addressed by a newly formed group call Women in Philanthropy (WIP).
Women in Philanthropy, a program of Mercy Health Center Foundation, is an
organization open to all women who support the work of Mercy and recognize
that women as donors have the capability of making an impact on health care
in the community. Plans were announced last spring to organize the group and
currently 21 women have made the decision to become charter members of Women
in Philanthropy. More
