
Fitness Class Schedule
January 3rd - March 17th
Spinning - Scott
Rodriguez and Shawn Hines - 50 minutes
A 50 minute, non-impact, cycling adventure of hill climbs, and sprints.
You will begin to notice improved cardiovascular capacity, strength, speed,
balance, relaxation, flexibility, visualization, and endurance. You don't have
to be fit to begin the class, patience and commitment are more important.
Be sure to bring a towel, water bottle, and a heart rate monitor is optional.
Early Morning Step -
Angie Bateson - 45 minutes
Start your morning off with 30 minutes of various cardio-step intervals.
The class will also include 10 minutes of intense abdominal work followed by a
relaxing 5 minute stretch. This class will get you pumped and ready for
your day!
Early Morning Toning
(Intervals) - Debbie Creekmore - 45 minutes
Utilize a variety of free weights, tubing, elastic bands, stability balls,
and step, this class offers a total body workout designed to increase strength
and tone the body. It can be adapted to any fitness level. Step it
up a notch on Wednesday's by doing intervals to help increase your
cardiovascular capacity.
Sizzling Seniors
- Debbie Creekmore - 60 minutes
Designed for the older adult in mind. This class offers a low impact cardio
workout with balance training and strength exercises using the dumbbells, balls,
steps, elastic bands, and stretch rite bands. Great for anyone just
starting a workout program.
Sassy Seniors -
Leseley Simpson - 50 minutes
Enjoy lots of exercises for arthritic conditions, diabetes, and senior fitness. Expect to
do some light floor work, stretching, arm and leg exercises, hand weights,
resist-a-balls and chairs.
Alignment -
Karen Kendrick/Elizabeth Carter - 45 minutes
Kick your shoes off. Stretch a spell. Lengthen and strengthen every muscle
group with this blend of yoga, Pilates and static stretching. Suitable fore all
fitness levels, this class will leave you feeling stronger and more flexible
with every session. Focus on proper mechanics and core strength makes Alignment
a great way to balance your training for maximum results.
Super Sculpt - Angie
Bateson - 45
minutes
Get ready to add variety to your workout! Super Sculpt is a 45 minute class
designed for all fitness levels. Using specific exercises to strengthen and tone
your upper and lower body, as well as effective core work to add definition to
your abs.
Salsa Step
- Rickenia Lee - 50 minutes
This powerful class combines strength and cardiovascular benefits of step
aerobics. After the first 30 minutes of Cardiovascular Step that will keep
you on the cutting edge of fitness by incorporating the latest steps from the
world of salsa with the newest moves from the world of step. You will also
enjoy toning the body using great workout tools such as the Body Bar, Bands,
Tubing, Dumbbells, Balls, and more. This class will take your body and
give it great cardiovascular, strength and flexibility benefits.
Step Interval Training Up -
Elizabeth Carter - 50 minutes
Step it up by doing step intervals. We will be doing bursts of cardio
using the step then moving right into some toning exercises using the dumbbells,
bands, balls, and more.
