A lifelong Sister of Mercy, Sr. Annrene is affiliated with the St. Louis-based congregation and retired in 2002 as Vice President of Mission Services for Mercy Health System of Kansas, Inc. She continues to serve the Sisters of Mercy Health System as a trustee for the system’s Arkansas facilities and serves on various committees and task forces within the Sisters’ congregation.

She also has established a retreat center at the local convent, where she directs spirituality programs.
