Lisa works as program director of the USD 446 Kids CREW after-school
program and also volunteers with the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary as a
“personal service ambassador.”She also serves in a volunteer capacity
for numerous other community organizations, including the chamber;
Independence Main Street; Leadership Independence and First Leadership;
USD 446 Educational Foundation, Bullying Prevention Council, Bond Issue
KIDS Committee and Junior Achievement; Imagination Library; ICC Booster
Club and the William Inge Festival;
Soroptimist; Neewollah;
Independence Country Club; Independence Historical Museum; Big
Brothers/Big Sisters; YouthFriends; Junior
Child Study Club; PEO; and the American Heart Association.
She is also trained through the Kansas Health Foundation as a leadership
education facilitator.
